As part of Work Package 2 (WP2), the consortium successfully completed the “Guide and Action Plan for VET Schools to Address the Challenges Facing Roma Learners in VET.” This practical framework aims to help VET schools become more inclusive, culturally sensitive, and accessible learning environments for Roma students.
The action plan provides concrete recommendations for educational institutions, focusing on:
- Improving outreach and communication with Roma communities
- Adapting learning materials and teaching approaches
- Strengthening teacher capacity and intercultural competence
- Overcoming barriers to participation in vocational education
- Increasing engagement with Roma families and communities
